The Shocking Derby Case - Pet Crematorium Owner faces jail

For the past 18 months we have regularly referred to the 'Nottingham Case', which finally went to Trial this week, Tuesday 18th January at Derby Crown Court. For those not familiar with this case, it was a heartbreaking situation for many families in the Nottingham area who had arranged, through their Vet, to have their pets individually cremated, only to discover that instead of their pets being cremated (despite the fact the owners had ashes returned to them), the woman who owned the pet crematorium was in fact dumping their beloved dogs bodies in a field!!)

Dawn has been involved in the case by helping the famlies and was in court on Tuesday with them for the trail. Dawn has posted about the court case on the Living with Pet Bereavement Forum (you have to be a registered member of the forum to read the article.)

The BBC also did a small piece which can be read HERE
